Old Timers Banquet to Feature Dave Dombrowski

Baseball Advisor to Music City Baseball Leadership Team

NASHVILLE, TN – November 16, 2020 – Old Timers president Carter Brown is pleased to announce Dave Dombrowski as guest speaker at the organization’s 83rd annual banquet to be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021. The event will be held at the Nashville Airport Marriot, 600 Marriott Dr, Nashville, TN 37214 beginning at 6:30 PM.

With over 40 years of service, Dombrowski is recognized as one of the most successful executives in Major League Baseball. Under his leadership his clubs have amassed well over 2,000 wins, won four pennants and two World Series titles.

He has served as President of Baseball Operations for the Boston Red Sox, President, CEO and General Manager of the Detroit Tigers, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Florida Marlins and General Manager of the Montreal Expos.

Dombrowski is on the MCB Baseball Advisory team, and as a consultant he is sharing his experience and expertise with MCB in order to bring Major League Baseball to Nashville.

Since 1999, 255 scholarships worth over $530,000 have been presented to worthy senior high school senior baseball players in the mid-state area. The application is available on the organization’s website at otbaseball.com/scholarships.

The deadline for applications to be received is December 15.
