85th Annual Banquet speaker: Brian Jordan, former Cardinals, Braves, Dodgers, & Rangers outfielder!

Brian Jordan, a multi-talented baseball star whose 15-year baseball career included stints with the Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, and Los Angeles Dodgers, will be the featured speaker at the 85th annual Old Timers banquet.

In 1,456 games over fifteen seasons, Jordan posted a .282 batting average and finished his career with a .988 fielding percentage playing at all three outfield positions and first base.

Jordan is an Emmy award-winning sports analyst for Bally Sports South and the founder of the Brian Jordan Foundation.

Since 1999 the Old Timers Baseball Association of Nashville has awarded over 300 scholarships worth $625,000, presented at the annual banquet held each year.

2023 scholarship applications are being accepted from any high school senior baseball player in the Nashville area. The deadline to submit is December 15, 2022; an application is available on the organization’s website at otbaseball.com.

The banquet is scheduled for Sunday, January 15, at the Sonesta Nashville Airport, formerly the Marriott. The banquet doors open at 6:00, and the event begins at 6:30 PM. Formed in 1938 by a group of local baseball enthusiasts, the Old Timers organization is one of the oldest such organizations in the United States.
